2006 SAWA Freshie-Bantam Provincials

Friday, March 31, 2006 at A.E. Peacock Collegiate
5:30 - 7:00 p.m.	Registration and Fee Payment - Coach or club representative is to present completed registration forms and submit payment for all applicable fees. Proof of age is required for new members.
7:00 - 7:30 p.m.	Medicals - Wrestlers are expected to attend Medicals and Weigh-ins in competition attire and bare feet.
7:30 - 8:30 p.m.	Weigh-ins
8:30 - 9:00 p.m.	Mandatory Coaches and Officials Meeting

Saturday, April 1, 2006 at Zion United Church (approx. 7 blocks from wrestling venue)
7:30 - 9:00 a.m.	PROVINCIAL TOURNAMENT BREAKFAST Basement of Zion United Church, 423 Main St. N. (Downtown) Free to all participating wrestlers. For every 15 registered athletes per club, 1 free coach's breakfast ticket will be issued. Parent/spectator tickets are available for $3.00/person. Tickets will be sold at the door, however it is preferred that all parents purchase tickets via their respective clubs. Tournament Breakfast tickets will be issued during registration. Clubs: notify SAWA by March 28 as to the number of attendees. Guest Speakers at 8:30 a.m.
Saturday, April 1, 2006 at A.E. Peacock Collegiate
9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (approximately)	Wrestling Eligibility: All Freshie - Bantam aged athletes are eligible to compete. Freshie 99/98, Novice 97/96, Pee Wee 95/94, Bantam 93/92. Athletes will be pooled according to gender, age/category, and actual weight

Fees:
Registration Fee is $18/athlete (Includes Tournament Breakfast). Competitors and coaches must be current members of SAWA to compete. SAWA membership forms are available here or at tournament registration. SAWA membership fees are $25. Coaches must wear their SAWA coaching ID cards to coach, enforceable by the officials and the Provincial Technical Coordinator.

Awards:
All athletes will receive participant ribbons.
Top three in each Pool (Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals)
Freshie-Pee Wee Top Club Awards (Boys and Girls)
Bantam Top Club Awards (Boys and Girls)
Top Small Club Award (12 or less registered athletes)

Rules: CAWA rules shall apply, with applicable SAWA modifications.
